چکیده

Organic electronic devices fabricated by entirely wet processes using organic semiconductors, insulators, metal nanoparticles, etc., have been attracting much attention. In particular, by utilizing printing techniques on plastic substrates, flexible electronic devices of large area and low-cost will be attained. However, conventional printing techniques such as flexo printing, screen printing and ink jet printing have printing resolutions of only 30 μm or larger, which is not enough for active-matrix (AM) thin-film transistor (TFT) displays. The performance in organic semiconductors have reached only 0.1 to 0.01 Vs/cm prepared by wet process so that the channel length, which is the distance between sorce and drain electrode, should be designed less than 5 μm.

Single-walled carbon nanotube networks for flexible and printed electronics

Networks of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) can be processed from solution and have excellent mechanical properties. They are highly flexible and stretchable. Depending on the type of nanotubes (semiconducting or metallic) they can be used as replacements for metal or transparent conductive oxide electrodes or as semiconducting layers for field-effect transistors (FETs) with high carrier...

Modeling and Design of Passive Components for Flexible Electronics

In this paper, electromagnetic modeling of capacitors and inductors for printed electronic circuits is studied. Capacitors are successfully modeled by two-dimensional finite element software. Capacitive sensor for chemical detection is proposed and tested in water. Inductors are modeled by the integrating through the currents and obtained results have been compared with 3D finite element method...
